We support the defense of people who have been forced to undergo medical interventions because they are pregnant.

This most often includes non-consensual or forced C-sections that can lead to bodily harm, medical trauma, and delayed bonding with their newborns. Hospitals have gotten court orders to force pregnant people to undergo medical procedures and to remain hospitalized on bed rest against their will.

In no other situation are people denied the ability to make personal health care decisions as they are during pregnancy. Pregnant people have the right to be heard and respected by their health care providers and to labor without added fear.
