NEW YORK — Pregnancy Justice is pleased to share that we have voluntarily recognized the Association of Legal Aid Attorneys (ALAA) – UAW Local 2325 as our staff union, marking a major milestone since Pregnancy Justice’s founding nearly 25 years ago as a legal defense and advocacy nonprofit organization that advances pregnant people’s rights and dignity. Pregnancy Justice looks forward to the start of a productive and collaborative collective bargaining process.

“Pregnancy Justice has a long and proud history of fighting for our clients, which simply wouldn’t be possible without our top notch and dedicated staff. We strongly believe in the human right to collective bargaining and proudly, voluntarily recognize the union,” said Pregnancy Justice President Lourdes A. Rivera. “We look forward to a partnership that is firmly rooted in our organizational values of integrity, collaboration, boldness, and nimbleness and to better position us to strongly and sustainably carry out our mission for years to come.”
