In June 2018, Pregnancy Justice Staff Attorney Indra Lusero gave a guest lecture to midwifery students at The Midwives College of Utah's distance learning program's Birth Justice Experiential Learning class, titled "Queering Birth Justice." The goal of the class is to have student midwives hear from activists on the ground and learn in a community-driven way. Indra spoke about how and why LGBTQ+ issues intersect with and are part of birth justice. This presentation was also given to midwifery students at Wisconsin's Southwest Tech in July.
