Pregnancy Justice at the 2019 Harm Reduction International Conference in Porto, Portugal

Pregnancy Justice Executive Director Lynn Paltrow chaired a panel at this year’s Harm Reduction International Conference (HR19) on “Women’s Empowerment”, with panelists Jade Boyd, Darla Matyushina-Ocheret, Aura Rolg and Isadora Simoes de Souza. The conference took place in Porto, Portugal, and brought together advocates and activists from around the world to connect around a shared commitment to harm reduction.

The principles of harm reduction are central to Pregnancy Justice’s work, values, and mission, and we see conferences like Harm Reduction International as an important way to engage with allies across movements and highlight the interconnectedness of issues that are often treated as separate.
