On January 25, 2013, Pregnancy Justice Executive Director, Lynn Paltrow, and National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health (NLIRH) Executive Director, Jessica Gonzalez-Rojas, appeared on Moyers & Company. Bill Moyers interviewed Lynn and Jessica after the 40th Anniversary of Roe v Wade to examine and discuss the issues behind the reproductive rights debate.

Project Prevention, originally known as C.R.A.C.K. (Children Requiring a Caring Kommunity) is often described as a program that offers $300 for current and former drug users to get sterilized or to use certain long-acting birth control methods. It was founded by Barbara Harris.

On June 17, 2011, WORTH - Women on the Rise Telling HerStory hosted a roundtable panel discussion reflecting on 40 years of a failed drug war that has destroyed lives and families. Moderator asha bandele asked panelist Lynn Paltrow, Executive Director of Pregnancy Justice to reflect on the meaning of the word "motherhood" in the context of the war on drugs.

Pregnancy Justice works on behalf of all pregnant women including pregnant women who have been arrested and charged with child abuse or some other crime because they continued a pregnancy to term in spite of a drug problem.

According to PersonhoodUSA, one of the reasons Roe v. Wade was wrongly decided is that the Court did not have available to it the well-known facts of fetal development.
