On January 25, 2013, Pregnancy Justice Executive Director, Lynn Paltrow, and National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health (NLIRH) Executive Director, Jessica Gonzalez-Rojas, appeared on Moyers & Company. Bill Moyers interviewed Lynn and Jessica after the 40th Anniversary of Roe v Wade to examine and discuss the issues behind the reproductive rights debate.

According to Personhood USA, legislators in at least five states are sponsoring bills that would give the unborn full state constitutional rights from the moment of fertilization.

A key strategy of the anti-abortion movement is creating the illusion that there are two kinds of women: those who have abortions and those who have babies. The truth is that 61 percent of women who have abortions are already mothers, and another 24 percent will go on to become mothers.
